Nachos in a Jar

This week is an extra delicious week for the blog because Kay has made another delicious appetizer – Nachos in a jar! So as you all know, I have an immeasurable amount of mason jars sitting around the house and we decided to make use of them (again, I know) for a delicious snack like these!

  • Crushed Tortilla chips (I used chickpea tortilla chips) 
  • Yogurt 
  • 1 Whole Avocado
  • Shredded cheese (I used tex-mex)
  • Jalapenos (optional)
  • 1 Lime

DIY Hanging Mason Jar Planter with Air Plants

I had very recently learned about what air plants were (recently I mean the past couple of days). I’ve seen them before and I’ve always thought that they were dead or fake plants. Pardon my ignorance. 

As I had mentioned in one of my recent posts, I have a bazillion mason jars sitting at home crying out for some love. Since I moved in and painted my room, I haven’t really done anything DIY for it, and I had been wanting to do a planter project.

 Sometimes it’s difficult to cook for just one. You get an itch, want to bake and often times recipes are for 4-6 servings (of which I along am not).
